GLPC AGM – 18th April 2024

The German Longhaired Pointer Club AGM will be held on 18th April 2024 at 7pm, via Zoom. 

The German Longhaired Pointer Club Annual General Meeting will be held virtually on 18th April 2024 at 7pm, via Zoom.

In accordance with Club Rule 10(e), Members’ proposed resolutions must be with the Secretary no later than 20th March 2024, please send to Kathy Connor, Townland Farm, 80 Front Road, Woodchurch, Kent TN26 3SA.

All committee members and executive officers are required to retire and each is willing to stand for re-election. There are two Committee Member positions available.

In accordance with the Club’s rule 4(i), nominations for Committee Member positions may be submitted in writing to the Secretary and received on nomination forms, available on request, no later than 20th March 2024. Nominees must be proposed and seconded by two fully paid-up members. The proposers must state that their nominee is willing to serve and the nominee must signify their willingness to serve in person at the AGM.

Please note that in the event of a ballot, only paid-up full Members of the GLPC shall be entitled to vote
at an Annual General Meeting.

Note:
Since the expiration of Kennel Club Regulation C5.e. on 31 st July 2022 and after consultation with The Kennel Club in order to clarify that the club is permitted to hold its AGM virtually, The Kennel Club has confirmed that since the GLPC’s constitution does not require that club AGMs are physical meetings, it will be permissible for the club to hold AGM’s virtually.
